| The
Plaja Islands are a tiny chain of beautiful,
bountiful, dainty dollops of paradise
sprinkled serenely across the deep blue
sea.
The biggest of the islands, Big
Plaja, and the littlest, Little
Plaja, are surrounded by 8
other islands; all connected by almond
bark bridges and licorice ropes.
To the north of Big Plaja is laid-back,
Lazy Eyeland; where
cat-napping is a full-time job. To the
south is the lovely Lady Slipper
Cove; where the flowers are
always in bloom and everything smells
of sweet perfume. Horizon Reef,
an island of stupendous sunsets and
home to the annual PlajaPet sack races,
lies to the west. Magicoo,
the island of lush mountains and mystery,
lies directly to the east.
To the north of Little Plaja is Dreamsicle
Key; the island with the best
root beer socials and milkshake meetings.
To the south, where the waves wash away
all sadness, is Longboard Flats.
Green Isle, a maze
of broccoli, beans and snow peas lies
to the west. To the east is balmy, palm-lined
Umbrella Atoll; where
tanning is tough but reading and relaxing
comes naturally.
